Instructions: Write a short personal anecdote
(number of words: 50-60).
An anecdote is a short, entertaining account of some happening, usually personal or biographical.
Begin with a sentence using the pattern “Once when I was …-ing, I found/lost/saw …”. Then explain the circumstances/complicating events surrounding the first sentence (Who? When? Where? Why?...). Finally, write an appropriate ending.

Once when I was travelling in Syria, I lost my Passport.
I was travelling with my sister and we were very worried.
We searched our hotel room but it was not there.
Finally, as we were leaving the hotel, the receptionist came running and told us he had something for us: MY PASSPORT!!
