Riddle by Marina López

She was born in London in 1985 and she wanted to be an artist since she was a child.

Her breakthrough role was in the English film Bend it like Beckham, but she became a world-famous actress in 2003, when she played a role in a well-known pirates´ saga. In 2005, she earned nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her role in the adaptation of the most well-known Jane Austen's novel. Two years later, she was nominated again for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her performance in Atonement.

From this moment on, she became an it-girl because she appeared on the cover of fashion magazines like Vogue, Vanity Fair or Elle, although she was criticised for her extreme slimness. She was also the celebrity face of Chanel´s perfums Coco Mademoiselle and luxury brands as Valentino.

She also makes charity work , for example, she often collaborates with British NGO´s and she´s also the face of an Amnesty International campaign to support human rights.
